About the event
During the 3-hours workshop, you will thoroughly understand sourdough bread making. Learning to make sourdough bread is a great way to create healthy and delicious bread that is gentle on your digestive system. In this hands-on class, I will guide you step by step through the process and teach you the necessary techniques. You will also take home a sourdough starter and your first hand-crafted sourdough dough that is ready to be baked in your own kitchen. The crumb texture of the bread gives a very satisfying mouthfeel, making it a perfect addition to any meal.
This workshop is designed in a demo style + hands-on and is suitable for individuals of all experience levels. The session will cover topics such as caring for, feeding and discarding a sourdough starter, as well as the process of making sourdough dough, forming and shaping a sourdough loaf, and ultimately baking the finished product.
There will be a taster session during the workshop when will be held to provide you with the opportunity to sample various types of bread. This will help you identify your preferred bread types and explore the possibilities of creating your own bread at home.

*This will be a hands-on class. You will be kneading, rounding, shaping and proofing the sourdough and baking
Please bring your own jar with a minimum size of 500ml to take your starter
