About the event
The festivities have begun, and I can't wait to welcome you into my kitchen for a complete plant-based event and wine.
In this tasty festive event, you'll be coaxed into my warm, glowing kitchen with a glass of wine in hand to watch a very lively cooking demonstration to a complete Christmas Menu. This will be a small group demo cooking class and wine tasting where I teach you recipes and festive tips for entertaining this holiday season.
This event will focus on sharing plates and in-season recipes for a plant-based and nutritious Christmas feast infused with color, flavor and fresh, in-season ingredients! We will cover a range of Christmas dishes perfect for celebrating with family and friends.
With a few drinks and some hands-on fun, your spectacular Christmas dinner will begin to take shape. I'll bet you didn't think it could be so deliciously simple!
I am honored to welcome into my kitchen for this event one of the great sommeliers that Macau has, Adolphus Foo, the President of the Macau Sommelier Association.
His experience of over 30 years in the wine industry has seen him holding the position of Sommelier, Director of Wines & many more in the hospitality industry. In his role, he has managed some of the most innovative and iconic wine programs in MGM Macau, Raffles Hotel in Singapore and several others leading hotels. He received numerous wine awards, including Wine Spectator’s “Grand Awards” and Fine Wine magazine’s “World Best Wine List three-star award” under his vision.
Together with Adolphus, we invite you to what we consider the ultimate PLANT FOOD + WINE event. We will be on hand to guide you through the wines and dishes, offering fascinating insights into the wines, great plant-based cooking and chatting through why we chose pairings of plant-based food and organic wine. Comprising festive dishes and wines, we have a winning formula for your Christmas Dinner.
For the PLANT FOOD +WINE event, Adolphus has prepared three special bottles of Biodynamics & Organics wine selection from Black Estate wine producers in New Zealand. He will present to you the Black Estate wine industry journey, what makes their wine region unique and the finer details about their organically and biodynamically vineyard and the wine we taste together on the day.
